Candian's Cart is invite-only. To join, fill in your name, phone number, and email, then browse members and send your request to one of them. If they accept, a referral code is sent automatically to your phone and email, which you use to sign up.

When someone shares their referral code with you and you sign up using it, they receive a reward added to their account. It's C$5 during this initial launch phase of the referral feature, and will drop to C$2 once that phase ends. This rewards existing members who help grow the community.

There's no delivery or app checkout — everything happens in store. Use the app to browse and build your cart ahead of time, then visit your selected store. The cashier scans your ID, pulls up your cart, and completes checkout for you, applying any subsidies in your Gift Wallet.

You save money by using subsidies on subsidized items. When your order has at least C$21 of regular items before tax, the app shows subsidies you can use. You can use those subsidies right away in the same order, or save them in your Gift Wallet for a future order.

You earn subsidies when your order has at least C$21 of regular (non-subsidized) items before tax. Some regular items give more subsidy than others — look for High, Medium, or Low Subsidy labels when shopping. Choosing High Subsidy items can help you earn more.

These labels show how much subsidy a regular item earns you — High gives the most, Medium a moderate amount, and Low the least. You'll see these labels in search, product cards, cart, checkout, and order history. If you need help, ask the cashier at your selected store.

Subsidies can only be used on subsidized items — special items where you pay less using subsidies. These may include milk, vegetables, fruits, and selected daily grocery items, and are only redeemable at your selected store.

Your subsidies do not disappear. If you do not use them, they stay safely saved in your Gift Wallet for you to use on a future order.
